Downtown Red Bank entertained thousands at its 5th Annual Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival on Sunday, September 28, which celebrated the opening of oyster season on the Jersey Shore and raised funds for Red Bank RiverCenter, the Jane H. Booker Cancer Center at Riverview Medical Center, and The Rutgers Cancer Institute of NJ. The festival drew crowds of all ages to New Jersey’s “Cool Little Town” for good vibes, delicious food, live music and dancing in the lots off White and Monmouth Streets. Jersey Shore in Motion joined for the day to take in all the exciting sights, sounds and smiles by AirCam.
There was no shortage of Guinness and fresh oysters of course, plus visitors enjoyed cuisine from more than 25 of Red Bank’s popular restaurants including Dish, Chowder House, Patrizia’s, The Boondock’s Fishery, The Oyster Point Hotel and Molly Pitcher Inn. Executive Chef and Restaurateur George Lyristis was also on hand to add his artistic culinary touch with dishes presented by Teak and The Bistro at Red Bank. The day was complete with café and sinful French artisan pastries from Antoinette Boulangerie and cheese creations from local artisan cheese shop, The Cheese Cave.
We invite you to take a ride with us and experience the day by AirCam. If you missed out on the flavors of the day, visit Jersey Shore in Motion and Red Bank RiverCenter websites often for restaurant specials and events throughout the year. Red Bank is a “Cool Little Town” that’s big on flavor and fun!
