Just when you thought Red Bank, dubbed a cool little town, couldn’t get any cooler, a few years ago several of the borough’s restaurateurs keenly recognized the need to come together to package their passion for food and drink in order to attract foodies from across the region to Red Bank.
Red Bank Flavour is a culinary-driven campaign that spotlights Red Bank’s bustling restaurant, bars, lounges and eateries. It encourages everyone from bar and restaurant-goers, foodies, cocktail connoisseurs, wine enthusiasts and farmers-market fans to get a taste of Red Bank’s one-of-a-kind Flavour. The campaign features nightly specials and promotions, special events, fundraisers and more.
A collective of Red Bank’s culinary community came together in 2011 to launch Red Bank Flavour. This passionate group included George Lyristis of Bistro Boys Management, Teak Restaurant and The Bistro at Red Bank; Anthony Ferrando, Chef and owner of DISH; Valerie Aufiero, Owner Front Street Trattoria; Tom Fishkin, Owner Readies Cafe; Tom Cappello, Owner Gaetanos Ristorante; Jesse Bello-Paseka and Chris Paseka, Owners of Sugarush; and Dan Lynch, Owner of Red and The Downtown. Today, the group continues to grow.
Flavour keenly recognizes that each Red Bank restaurant and lounge brings a distinct flavor and vibe to the town. Collectively, they have all the right ingredients to consistently attract diners, day or night, to enjoy their menu of diverse styles, which include Italian, Asian fusion, American eclectic, Thai and Japanese and much more. You will also find other flavorful offerings such as artisanal cheeses and meats, cupcakes, French pastries, gluten-free, signature cocktails, and freshly roasted coffee.
The creative agency behind Flavour is M studio, which launched the brand in 2011 via a digital marketing and PR campaign that continues to attract cosmopolitan foodies from across the region to eat, sip and savor the flavors of Red Bank. Many of the annual Red Bank Flavour events are widely-anticipated and include the International Flavour Festival; Cocktail Week; Food & Wine Walk; Savor, Sip & Stay; A Night on the Navesink: Summer Fare and Spirits; and the upcoming Holiday Flavour.
Be sure to attend Red Bank Flavour’s next event, Holiday Flavour, and raise a glass to their successful efforts bringing people to Red Bank to experience and enjoy the town’s diverse culinary offerings. The third-annual Holiday Flavour will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the elegant Molly Pitcher Inn, situated along the Navesink River in Red Bank, NJ. The evening will feature delectable small plates of flavor and libations (from Ketel One, Johnny Walker, Baileys and Rook) from more than 15 Red Bank restaurants and features live entertainment by pianist George Markey, a tree lighting, visit from Santa, prize giveaways and more. A portion of proceeds from the evening will benefit the Parker Family Health Center. Tickets are $35 online and $45 at the door.
