It’s looking like the weather gods are on our side this weekend.
With temperatures around 40 degrees at the Jersey Shore both days and rain possibly holding off until late Sunday night, it’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the multitude of events on our slate.
The Jersey Shore is packed full of events this weekend from grand openings to anniversary celebrations, award-winning actors to singing Deadheads, and even face painting.
This weekend is going to rock!
#1: Grand Opening Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten
Location: 527 Lake Avenue Asbury Park

Description:
The locals were in all this week and now it’s time for the real celebration. Join the entire Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten crew as they formally toast their grand opening with a ribbon cutting at 12:00pm. After the formalities, join in the fun by participating in a Mass Krug Stemmen Competition, keg tappings, and of course no German party is complete without The Adlers Polka Band starting at 8pm.
#2: Painting on Wine Glasses at Back on the Racks, Long Branch

Start celebrating Valentine’s Day a little early with Back on the Racks on February 7th from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Join Laurie Ruggeri, Middletown Arts Center instructor and artist as she helps you paint wine glasses while eating chocolate. Not an artist? No problem! #3: Brian Kirk & the Jirks at The Downtown

#4: Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation

Take the entire family out for a night of jazz and blues! Red Bank’s very own “bluesmaster” himself, Gary Wright, will be performing with the JSJBF Youth Ensemble in a fundraising kickoff for the Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation youth programs. Take the kids out for a treat at Hansel n’ Griddle. Open till 3am, it’ll be a night the kids will never forget, especially when it’s topped off with a big plate of Texas French Toast in the wee hours of the morning.
#5: A Life in the Theater at The Algonquin Arts Theatre

#9: Kidabaloo at Brookdale Community College

If you have kids, then be sure to bring them over to Brookdale Community College as Kidabaloo takes over. The fun-filled festival features live performance by Dove Cameron and Ryan McCarten (from Disney’s Liv and Maddie) as well as games, moonbounces, costumed characters, vendors, live entertainment, crafts, and more! Your kids will be more than happy to go to bed early (but don’t hold us to that statement).
#10: Wonder Jam at The Wonder Bar

The Wonder Jam returns to The WonderBar in its second year with Sandy Mack & Friends as well as a rotating all-star band playing three sets of rock, jam, blues, and of course, plenty of Grateful Dead. Apparently, dancing is optional, but highly encouraged. After dancing the afternoon away no one wants to cook dinner so grab some pizza and pasta from Dominick’s Pizzeria in Wall. It’ll make your Sunday feel like Friday.
