Thousands of Easter Eggs Hidden at Seaside Heights Beach

Easter time on the Jersey Shore just wouldn’t be complete without those traditional egg hunts. A little birdie told us that the Easter bunny is on his way to a favorite Jersey Shore location, Seaside Heights Beach, hiding thousands of eggs for children (up to age 10) to find at the Palm Sunday Egg Hunt on March 29, 2015. During this eggcellent event, smiling faces and 15,000 pastel eggs filled with prizes from boardwalk merchants, like tickets for free rides, skeeball games and food, will crowd the beach and boardwalk. There will also be a challenger area for children with special needs.  The event is free to the public.

Certain age groups will report to specific areas on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk at 1:00 p.m.

Ages 0 – 2 report to Hancock Avenue
Ages 3 – 4 report to Blaine Avenue
Ages 5 – 6 report to Sumner Avenue
Ages 7 – 8 report to Hamilton Avenue
Ages 9 – 10 report to Lincoln Avenue

Children with special needs report to Kearney Avenue.

What makes Seaside Heights’ Palm Sunday Egg Hunt a favorite for families throughout New Jersey is the excitement on the boardwalk that follows the hunt. Casino Pier will be handing out free ride tickets (excludes Skyscraper, Skyride & Go-Karts) and free games of Wacky Rooftop Golf.  The coupons are only good for use during the event.

There’s also plenty of great restaurants in the area to head over to after the eggstravaganza, such as Hemingway’s Café and Savor Lounge. Hemingway’s Café offers a spacious atmosphere for the entire family and serves up a wide variety of food and drink. At Savor Lounge, enjoy delicious food in a chic atmosphere, including mouthwatering sushi.

Bring the kids over to Seaside Heights N.J. on Palm Sunday for an exciting egg hunt, tons of family fun on the boardwalk, and great food on the Jersey Shore!
