Treat mom to a special day of rides and flowers this Mother’s Day at Casino Pier in Seaside Heights, NJ! On May 10, moms ride free all day with a paying child. (Does not include Go-Karts, Skyride and Skyscraper, and is not valid with any other discount promotion.)
The Borough of Seaside Heights Mayor and Council will distribute flowers along the Boardwalk at noon on Mother’s Day to all moms.
Casino Pier is the perfect place to take mom this Mother’s Day, with rides and activities fitting mom’s fun style. The amusement park offers classic children and family rides and rollercoasters. Popular rides include Moby Dick (rocking boat ride), Pirates Hideaway (pirate-themed rollercoaster), Hot Tamales (family rollercoaster) and Tilt-A-Whirl. The day spent at Casino Pier is sure to be one mom won’t forget.
But Casino Pier offers more than just rides! At the Casino Arcade, mom can enjoy classic games like skee ball and pinball, while the kids can find the latest video games. Visitors of every age will enjoy the variety of games the arcade offers. Tickets won at the arcade can be redeemed for prizes.
At Casino Pier, mom’s can visit on one of only two surviving American-made classic carousels in the state of New Jersey! The Dr. Floyd L. Moreland Historic Dentzel/Looff Carousel is over 100 years old and the colorful, hand-carved horses have been restored so visitors to Casino Pier can enjoy a beautiful ride.
The historic carousel moved to Seaside Heights in 1932 and contains 58 animals, including 35 moving horses, 18 stationary horses, 2 camels, 1 lion, 1 tiger and 2 chariots. The music is provided by the only continuously operating Wurlitzer Military Band Organ in the state. The carousel, and its 2,016 light bulbs, whirls on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk and is sure to bring delight to every mom. (The carousel and arcade are not included in the free promotion for Mother’s Day.)
