Looking for a summer job at Seaside Heights? Or a part-time job doing something enjoyable? Or even a full-time opportunity? The job fairs just the place to find these openings, and many of the organizations at the fair will be hiring on the spot.
The job fair will take place Saturday, May 2 from noon to 3 p.m. on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk at Webster Avenue. Over 20 employers will be interviewing the day of the event and many will even hire that same day. The job fair is sponsored by the Seaside Heights Business Development District in conjunction with the New Jersey Department of Labor.
Those interested in attending the summer job fair should bring a resume, a pen, and any other information needed to complete a job application. It is recommended that participants arrive early and dress in business casual attire.
Job fairs are a great way to network and make connections that can help job seekers find employment, and a great way to make a lasting, positive first impression. Job fairs provide an opportunity to meet employers face to face, ask questions about an organization, and learn more about a specific position. At last year’s Seaside Heights and Vicinity Summer Job Fair, big name companies such as Shop-Rite, WaWa, IHOP, A&P and McDonald’s participated, offering hundreds of different jobs.
