Gentlemen of the Road Festival in Seaside Heights ft. Mumford & Sons

Internationally acclaimed British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons brings its Gentlemen of the Road Festival to Seaside Heights on June 5th and 6th.

The Stopover is a two-day event that combines the intimacy of a community celebration with the excitement of a world-class music festival. Mumford & Sons will headline the Saturday show, alongside an eclectic and energetic roster of artists curated by the band themselves.

One of those artists is The Alabama Shakes, who recently topped the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, with their second album Sound & Color. Longtime alternative rock band The Flaming Lips and numerous other artists balance out the diverse lineup of bands.

A unique aspect of The Gentleman of the Road Festival is that camping will be allowed nearby for the festival. For an additional $20 per person, festival patrons will be allowed to camp near the beach! The campground opens up on Thursday, June 4th at noon.

The Gentleman of the Road Festival also partnered up with RYDE to provide an 0ut-of-town shuttle to avoid the hassles of parking and traffic. For those coming to town early, The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover kicks off early with a series of performances in Downtown Seaside Heights. Starting Thursday, June 4th, there will be a stage hosting a selection of our favorite local bands. This celebration is open to all Stopover goers and free to the public!
