Get the inside track, with a tour of the inside track (pun intended). Meet and greet with the trainers and horses while learning what it takes to care for a thoroughbred racehorse. (Heads up – it’s no walk in the park!) Take notes as trainers explain the ins and outs of how the horses are trained and maybe what to look for in that large program aka the race card, which includes the horse’s name, sire, weight, and number of previous performances. (We usually bet by the color, number, and name, but we would suggest you listen to the pros.)
