Win Tickets to see American Pharoah at Monmouth Park’s Haskell Invitational

Interested in attending one of the most prestigious horse races in the country? Well, it’s your lucky day. We’ve got two tickets to the William Hill Haskell Invitational, hosted at the “Jersey Shore’s Greatest Stretch” – Monmouth Park in Oceanport on Sunday, August 2nd – just for you. Here’s your shot to see Triple Crown winner American Pharoah at Monmouth Park!

Monmouth Park along with America’s Best Racing want to give you a chance to win an opportunity of a lifetime. The grand prize winner will receive two tickets to one of horse racing’s most anticipated events! There is also a potential of a back lot tour of the park where you will see the paddock.

This is your chance to get an up close seat as history unfolds when Triple Crown Winner, American Pharoah, makes his way to The Haskell. And it’s only fitting that American Pharoah will strut his stuff here at the Jersey Shore’s iconic racetrack. Did you know that Monmouth Park is home to a jockey statue of Paynter, the 2012 Haskell Invitational champion? Turns out, Paynter was owned by Ahmed Zayat, the same New Jersey resident who owns American Pharoah. Now those colors, light blue and yellow, are made famous once more.

Monmouth Park Haskell Invitational

Celebrating its 48th year, The Haskell is an invitation only stakes for three-year-old thoroughbreds on a 1 1/8 mile track with a $1 million purse. Considered a major race that’s held in between the U.S. Triple Crown Series and the Breeder’s Cup, the Haskell Invitational Trophy is once again up for grabs among the top horses in the country.

“It’s a very prestigious race,” said Frank Mirahmadi of Monmouth Park, the same person who called American Pharoah’s win at Oaklawn Park in the Arkansas Derby. “The Haskell has a storied history. It’s the kind of race that deserves a Triple Crown winner to roll through here and participate in it.”

Spend the day cheering on your favorite horses before staying tuned for the main event later in the afternoon. Watch as jockeys and horses get ready to make a run for it as they garner their energy in the starting gate. Bet an exacta, a trifecta or if you’re really feeling lucky, just bet on your favorite horse to win.

Get caught up in the Haskell mania by dressing in your finest attire for a chance to participate in Monmouth Park’s Haskell Day Best Dressed Couple Contest. And be sure to where you’re dancing shoes as you’ll enjoying live music from Low Cash Cowboys and Big Hix.

But one thing is for sure, be sure to get there early. Gates open at 9am with the first race sounding off at 11:30am. Bring your friends and family to the biggest race – and biggest day – of the summer because this is The Haskell. Where champions prove their greatness!

Contest winner will be randomly chosen and announced on Thursday,  July 30th. Multiple submissions will result in automatic disqualification. By entering our Monmouth Park Haskell Giveaway contest, you will also be entered into our Jersey Shore InMotion weekly mailing list.
