The Jersey Shore breeds a lot of greatness, from its beaches and boardwalks to its food. But let’s not forget about the Jersey Shore locals! We’ve decided to highlight some celebrities born at the Jersey Shore who, although they may have moved away to pursue bigger things, can always call the Shore home.

Although not everyone is lucky enough to say they were born at the Shore, we accept newcomers with open arms, like these 20 Jersey Shore Celebrities Living in Monmouth & Ocean Counties who currently reside at the Shore, whether they were born here or not.

1. Bud Abbott, Asbury Park
One half of the famous Abbott & Costello duo hailed from Asbury Park.

2. William “Count” Basie, Red Bank
Leader of the legendary Count Basie Orchestra, Mr. Basie served as the bandleader on Frank Sinatra’s legendary live album – Sinatra at the Sands.

3. Clint Black, Long Branch
This country singer with over 30 singles on the US Billboard Country charts was born in Long Branch & claims Red Bank as his birthplace as his parents lived there when he was born.

4. King Kong Bundy,  Atlantic City
The headliner of Wrestlemania II, Bundy unfortunately lost a steel cage championship match to Hulk Hogan.
