The Seaside Heights Santacon Returns this Saturday

This Saturday, December 19th a once-a-year celebration returns as the Seaside Heights Santacon makes its way to the Shore at Noon.

Santacon is a non-traditional celebration of the holiday season that encourages everyone to get jolly for the day and spread holiday cheer in your best Santa Claus outfit. Santacon is not a bar crawl, but rather a non-commercial, non-denominational, and a just-for-fun convention where you and other participants don your best Santa outfit.

Get together with a group of friends, or join a group of new friends when you come out to celebrate this year’s Seaside Heights Santacon on Saturday December 19th!

What to Wear:
Wear your best head-to-toe Santa Clause gear. If you don’t, you may just be laughed right out of Seaside Heights! Feel free to get creative and take your costume up a holiday notch. Other holiday costumes such as an elf, a dreidel, reindeer or even a nutcracker. We encourage you to get a group of friends together and create your own holiday-themed costumes.

What to Bring and What can Stay at Home:
At this year’s Seaside Heights Santacon you are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy which will be donated to Toys For Tots, as well as two non-perishable food items to be donated to a food pantry. Wear comfortable footwear and some cash for any purchases you may make. You are welcome to bring additional gifts, toys, or anything to entertain the masses with. Additional toys can be for those nice or naughty. Most of all, bring your Christmas joy!

Please leave at home your alcohol. Open containers are not jolly. We would also like you to leave any naughty buddies back at home. Cool friends are totally welcome though!

Santacon is all about getting out and spreading Christmas cheer, responsibly. So, don your best Santa gear, practice your ho ho ho’s, bring some toys for the nice (and maybe a little naughty) ones, and join your fellow Santas at this year’s Seaside Heights Santacon.

Come on out and celebrate the holidays on the Jersey Shore in the most magical way possible- having an amazing time being jolly with hundreds of other Santas!
