March in Seaside Heights Events: St. Patrick’s Day, the Easter Bunny, and More!

March is an exciting month full of Seaside Heights events! Say goodbye to dreary winter weather and welcome spring with the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, special Easter events, and of course, the reopening of Casino Pier on Saturday, March 19th! Spring is a wonderful time at the Jersey Shore, so celebrate accordingly with these Seaside Heights events.

Saturday, March 12th: The Ocean County Saint Patrick’s Day Parade
The luck of the Irish is bound to smile upon you. Join the enthusiastic crowds on the Boulevard for a fun-filled Irish parade with bands, floats, and marchers, and a street celebration where everyone is Irish! For parade information, please visit www.ocstpatricksdayparade.com.

Sunday, March 20th: The 2016 Palm Sunday Easter Egg Hunt
The Easter Bunny has lost all his Easter eggs on the beach in Seaside Heights! Now he needs the help of all girls and boys up to ten years of age in the Palm Sunday Egg Hunt. Hurry to the beach in Seaside Heights on Sunday, March 20th at 1 PM and follow the signs to the “Age Groups” to uncover the hidden eggs…up to 15,000 eggs! You will earn prizes, like FREE ride tickets, skeeball games and food. There will also be golden eggs with seasonal beach badges in them from the Borough of Seaside Heights, and it’s all FREE and open to kids up to age ten. There will also be a challenger area for kids with special needs. B98.5 will be in front of the Franklin Avenue Stage broadcasting live! Check here for more information on this event from Exit 82.

Sunday, March 27th: Seaside Heights 2016 Annual Easter Promenade
Seaside Heights! The family fun and sun resort, turns Easter Sunday into Easter Funday! It’s the annual Easter Outfit contest, which will be held Sunday, March 27th on the boardwalk at the Franklin Avenue Stage!

Registration for the “Best Dressed” contest begins at 10AM at the Visitor’s Center, with judging beginning at 1PM. There will be cash prizes for the winners in several categories. As always on Easter Sunday, the Mayor and Council will be giving out free carnations dyed in spring colors to the ladies while strolling along the boardwalk in front of the Visitor’s Center. The Easter Bunny will be handing out tickets to win one of ten bicycles that will be raffled off while the costume judging takes place.

There will be free face painting, balloon animals and more from the Polka Dots! Put on your Easter’s finest and head on over to Seaside Heights Sunday, March 27th! Click here for more details!
