May 27, 28, 29, 30 – Memorial Day Weekend

There are activities year-round in Seaside Heights, but the community really starts to come alive in early May when it traditionally gets warmer. But the weather has been more typical of Seattle for the last few weeks.

Not for long! Much warmer and less stormy weather is on the horizon for mid-week and the holiday weekend, and we’d love to see you in Seaside Heights to celebrate the official kickoff to the summer.

He’ll be joined by The E Street Shuffle, performing a Bruce Springsteen set and Mike Rocket, who will play his song, ”Gotta Get to the Jersey Shore.”

The radio show kicks off at 6 a.m., with Michaels expected to perform after 7 a.m.

It’s free!

After that, stick around for the weekend and enjoy everything we have to offer.

Sneak peak at upcoming events…

June 10, 11, 12 – Boy Scouts Camporee on Friday, Saturday, Sunday

June 11 – Arts and Crafts by the Sea on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the Boardwalk between Dupont and Grant Avenues.

And now for some local history….

Did you know? The original narrow wooden bridge heading over to Seaside Heights was replaced by the current Thomas A. Mathis Bridge in 1950. It was a perfect time, allowing for Seaside Heights to grow as a family resort as the baby boomer generation was just beginning.
