Martell’s Water’s Edge Offers A Trio of Waterfront Dining Experiences

From burgers and cocktails at the outdoor tiki bar to upscale cuisine in the second floor dining room and even a picture perfect setting for any occasion in the banquet room – Martell’s Water’s Edge (125 Bayview Avenue, Berkeley Twp. 732-269-3000) is one of the Jersey Shore’s premier waterfront restaurants.

“We’re a truly unique experience,” said Ed Brannagan, General Manager of Martell’s Water’s Edge. “We have three businesses in one, all of them overlooking the Barnegat Bay. It’s all about the water for us.”

When Brannagan says it’s all about the water, he’s not kidding. Accessible by both car and boat, Water’s Edge provides everything you need for the ultimate Jersey Shore dock and dine experience. Dock your boat at the pier or tie it up to one of the moorings and catch a ride in for lunch, dinner, or drinks after a day out sailing.

Martell’s Water’s Edge Offers Three Unique Experiences

During the warmer months, locals and visitors alike flock to the outdoor tiki bar that jets out along the Barnegat Bay. A “smaller version” of their popular Pt. Pleasant Tiki Bar, Water’s Edge still has all of the great food, nightly entertainment, and famous cocktails that you’d expect from a Martell’s institution.

Just in time for the kids to get out of school and the grown ups to let loose, Water’s Edge will welcome live bands every night throughout the summer months. While you’re enjoying your favorite tiki bar snacks, be sure to order up one of their infamous drinks featuring fresh squeezed orange juice paired with your alcohol of choice or try out the Tiki Tea, an iced tea flavored vodka with pink lemonade.

As for those nights when you’re looking for a dining experience like no other, Water’s Edge indoor dining room is just a step away. Surrounded by panoramic views of the Barnegat Bay, you’ll enjoy upscale continental American cuisine that includes everything from seafood dishes to mouth watering steaks. According to Swine, the Calamari appetizer is a dish that diners just can’t get enough of. The dish features their famous flash fried rings tossed in a Thai chili, ginger, cilantro, and lime glaze. It’s the gateway dish to what will be a one of a kind dinner.

Topping off the trio is their wedding and catering hall featuring, you guessed it, panoramic views of Barnegat Bay (we’re telling you, the only place you can’t see the Bay is in the bathroom!) From April through the fall, brides and grooms have made Water’s Edge home for exchanging “I do’s” in the outdoor wedding garden, pictures on the exclusive waterside pier, and then dancing the night away in the newly constructed Angel Room and dining room.

“What makes an event at Water’s Edge unique is that our catering menu is the same as our dining room,” said Brannagan. “It’s restaurant quality food, not just your typical banquet dishes.”

With summer right around the corner, Martell’s Waters Edge is set to be your go to place for live music, delicious dishes, and celebrations. As Ansbro said, it’s “all about the water,” but we’re pretty sure it’s all about the trio of experiences that they offer, the water views are just a bonus!
