No matter how many years we’ve watched classic Jersey Shore fireworks, we still get that one-of-a-kind happy feeling when we watch the sky light up from the comfort of our beach chair or picnic blanket. We’ve got a full schedule of fireworks for this holiday weekend, Thursday, June 30th – Monday, July 4th – even a bonus show on Friday, July 8th! Whether you are looking for a full-blown local celebration, or just want to settle in at dusk to watch the show, there’s something for you somewhere nearby!

Thursday, June 30

Brick: Summerfest kickoff at Windward Beach Park! Starting at 6pm, enjoy a concert by “Saved by the 90’s”, beer and wine garden, food court, and fireworks at dusk.

Point Pleasant Beach: Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is hosting fireworks on the beach every Thursday throughout the summer, weather permitting.

Friday, July 1

Lakewood: The Lakewood BlueClaws light up the sky at First Energy Park with post-game fireworks following games every Friday night.

Manasquan: Head to the Little League field at 5:15 for a bicycle decorating contest. Parade begins at the Coast Guard Station at 6:30pm, concert by Billy Lawlor begins at 7:30pm on Main Beach. Fireworks at dusk.


Saturday, July 2

New Egypt: Enjoy an evening packed with car races at the New Egypt Speedway’s Military Heroes Twin Twenties Night, finished off with a fireworks display. Gates open at 4pm.

Sunday, July 3

Bradley Beach: Fireworks on the beachfront at dusk.

Freehold Raceway: Gates open at 6:30pm, fireworks at dusk. Watch them from the parking lot at Jersey Freeze, where they will be hosting a party complete with live entertainment, face painting, giveaways, and of course delicious food and ice cream!

Lacey Township: Live music starts at 7pm at the High School/Middle School, and fireworks at dusk.

Lakehurst: Fireworks in Lake Horicon Park at dusk.

Lakewood: Miss out on the BlueClaws’ Fireworks Friday? No worries – Sunday’s special show from First Energy Park is going to be “the biggest ever”. There will also be a fireworks display over Lake Carasaljo.

Lavallette: Concert starts at 8pm in the Centennial Garden and gazebo on Bay Boulevard, fireworks at 9pm.

Ocean Township: Parade starts at 5, followed by family picnic at Joe Palaia Park fairgrounds, then fireworks at dusk.

Union Beach: Fireworks on the beachfront.


Monday, July 4

Asbury Park: Fireworks on the beachfront at dusk.

Barnegat Light: Parade starts at 6:30 traveling through town to the Bay Front gazebo at Seventh and Bayview streets. Then a concert at the municipal dock, followed by fireworks.

Beach Haven: Fireworks in Bay Village at dusk.

Beachwood: Fireworks on the beachfront at dusk.

Keansburg: Fireworks at the Keansburg amusement park at dusk.

Long Branch: The 26th Annual Oceanfest is a Jersey Shore fireworks tradition! New Jersey’s biggest Independence Day celebration begins at 10am on the beachfront promenade. Fireworks are at 9pm.

Point Pleasant Beach: Jenkinson’s annual Independence Day Fireworks begin at dark.

Seaside Heights: The Seaside Heights July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza will begin at 9:30pm. Check out this week’s installment of This Week in Seaside Heights to see the full lineup of events for the weekend. And if you miss it on the 4th, don’t worry – they’ve got fireworks every Wednesday.


Bonus! Friday, July 8

Atlantic Highlands: The holiday weekend is extended in Atlantic Highlands! Watch the fireworks from On the Deck, where they’ll have a fireworks part starting at 6pm and live music. Fireworks start at 9.
