Each year, Monmouth Park Racetrack hosts richest invitational in America: the $1,000,000 Haskell Invitational. This is the Jersey Shore’s grandest day of racing, and of course Monmouth Park makes the most of it, and puts on a whole weekend full of exciting events! Sunday, July 31st is the big day of the Haskell, but don’t miss Joes vs. Jocks mini golf and Ladies Day on Friday and Saturday, respectively.

Friday, July 29th: 4th Annual Joes vs. Jocks Mini Golf

Join your favorite Monmouth Park jockeys after the races for a round of mini golf to help kick-off Haskell weekend and raise money for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. The night will include prizes, food and a lot of fun as the Monmouth Park jockeys take to the mini links to play a round with the fans.

Because Monmouth Park’s Bluegrass Mini Golf has two 18-hole courses, walk-ups may also play mini golf and be a part of the festivities, however reservations are required to play with the jockeys as only a limited number of foursomes are available.

Date: Friday, July 29 – after the races until approximately 9pm.
$100 per foursome

Saturday, July 30th: Ladies Day

It’s all about the beautiful dress and Derby hats as we kick off Haskell weekend in style! Ladies admitted FREE with hat or fascinator. Come dressed to impress and be asked to participate in our ladies hat contest for great prizes.

Don’t miss the Lilly Pulitzer fashion show at the Lady’s Secret Café showcasing the season’s best new style and designs! Gather the girls together, dress to impress, and come celebrate Ladies’ Day at Monmouth Park. Photo Ops, drink specials and much more will make Ladies’ Day the perfect girls day out!

Sunday, July 31st: The Haskell Invitational

Welcome to the grandest day of racing on the Jersey Shore and the richest invitational in America: The Grade 1, $1,000,000 Haskell Invitational. Featuring the nation’s top 3-year-olds, the Haskell has been won by racing greats such as Horse of the Year Point Given, Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra, and most-recently Triple Crown winner American Pharoah. Don’t miss the glamour, excitement, and passion of Monmouth Park’s premier race!

Bring a special someone and dress to impress and you might be asked to participate in our Haskell’s Best Dressed Couple competition!

Last year we cheered and celebrated as American Pharoah put on a show for the ages.  This year’s Haskell Day promises to be just as exciting.  So bring the friends, bring the family, celebrate the biggest day of the summer at the biggest race of the season.

Gates open early at 10:00am. First post is 12:00pm.
