This Week at Monmouth Park: Cars, Clydesdales, and More!

It’s going to be an exciting weekend at Monmouth Park Racetrack! In addition to the usual live races, they’ve got a special visit planned from the Budweiser Clydesdales on Saturday, and the Classic Car Show & Oldies Day on Saturday! Read on for more details.

Saturday, July 9th: The Budweiser Clydesdales Visit Monmouth Park

This summer, the iconic Budweiser Clydesdales return to beautiful Monmouth Park!

Don’t miss your opportunity to see these majestic animals parade down the Monmouth Park stretch for the first time in decades.  It promises to be a spectacle you’ll never forget.

Originally, the Clydesdales were a gift to August A. Busch, Sr. to commemorate the repeal of the Prohibition.  Since 1933, these beautiful horses have been pleasing thousands of crowds all over the nation. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in a tradition of a life time!  Grab an ice-cold Bud to celebrate the history!

The Budweiser Clydesdales will be available for photos from 2pm – 4pm.

Sunday, July 10th: The Haskell Classic Car Show & Oldies Day

This year’s Classic Car Show is bigger and better than ever!

All your favorite rides from years gone past are back for a trip down memory lane!  But this year we’re adding more!

Enjoy live music from The Cameos, New Jersey’s Favorite Oldies Group.  Plus we’ll have professional dancers showing off their swing dancing moves and giving FREE lessons.

As always, everyone’s favorite disc jockey Big Joe Henry will be live broadcasting his NJ 101.5 FM’s #1 Jersey Favorite Hits Show live from 11:30am to 3pm.

So bring you friends and family and join us for a stroll through the past – to a time where chrome ruled, music made you get up and dance, and where a drive-in movie took the place of an iPad.

As always, Sunday is Family Fun Day.
