Easter may just be days away, but that doesn’t mean there’s still time to ditch the honey ham and green mint jelly for greener pastures at some of the best restaurants at the shore. Our guide to the ultimate Jersey Shore Easter brunch includes the hottest brunch spots as well as some choices for those looking for something besides brunch – maybe lunch or dinner… separately. Whatever you choose, there’s always something that will peak your interest, from a German spin on brunch items to your classic Italian cuisine and seafood galore. Happy brunch hopping!
Our Guide to Where to Eat Jersey Shore Easter Brunch
Every Sunday, from 10:00am – 1:30pm, those in the know have been heading to the Marina at Oceanport to experience a brunch that makes you wish you could combine two meals every day of the week. Some of our favorites include the Maryland Crabcake Sandwich featuring not one, not two, but three crab cakes and the Quiche Lorraine topped with bacon and served with a side of fruit. (And don’t forget to order a cocktail, it is brunch after all!) 10 Riverside Avenue, Oceanport 848-456-4596

Ok, even though you probably missed the boat on this hot ticket, we still have to mention it (just keep it in mind for next year!) The Molly Pitcher Inn is the ultimate Jersey Shore brunch that boggles the mind with choices, all of which are completely delicious. Eat your heart out (next time). 88 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank 732-747-2500

If you’re reading this, there’s still a chance that you’ll be able to get into Oyster Point, right on the Navesink. We’re already dreaming about the omelet and waffle station, but we can’t stop thinking about the seared crab cake station (seriously, who thinks of this!) Add on a mashed potato bar (no we’re not making this up), a Peking Duck Station, and a hearty dose of entrees, carving and pasta stations as well as an elaborate Viennese Table. 146 Bodman place, Red Bank 732-784-4059

The recently reopened Panini Bay is just waiting to welcome you for an early lunch or dinner. No it’s not brunch, but there’s no one telling you that you can’t order a few dishes and turn your table into your very own buffet. And really, when you add the Lunch and Breakfast Grilled Gruyere Cheese Panini to the mix, aka the Brunch Panini, who’s to say it’s not brunch! 101 Parker Road, Tuckerton 609-294-4281 http://lmskorge.wixsite.com/paninibay
Make a reservation at Rooney’s anytime between 10:30am – 1:00pm on Easter Sunday and you’ll get a chance to try out some of the Jersey Shore’s most elaborate dishes including classic breakfast items, seafood dishes, chicken, bagels, salads, soups, a raw bar station, pancakes, and so, so much more. Treat yourself to an Italian meal that will transport you to the shores of Italy. Dine on spring dishes that let all your favorite ingredients shine. You can’t go wrong on this menu, which is why heading here for Easter dinner is a no brainer. You know you didn’t want to glaze that ham. 115 Brighton Avenue, Long Branch 732-222-1121 www.tramastrattoria.com
