The 2017 season will be the best yet in Seaside Heights. It began in February with the Polar Bear Plunge and ends on New Year’s Eve with First Night Ocean County.

The summer season kicked off two weekends ago with the Jersey Shore Festival and entered second gear over Memorial Day weekend.

Now, stayed tuned for a diverse array of a exciting major and weekly events, including free concerts, bonfires, movies, camping, and more! And of course, let’s not forget the bay and ocean beaches, arcades, restaurants, games of chance, and Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach.

Be sure to check out the new ferris wheel and roller coaster, Hydrus, too!

Weekend of June 3 & 4 – 5K for BK

We invite you to join us on Saturday, June 3 for a 5k run/walk in memory of Seaside Heights lifeguard Brian Kurinzi. The event is on the scenic oceanfront boardwalk overlooking the beaches that Brian spent five years lifeguarding and protecting beachgoers.

The race begins at 9:00 a.m. at Hiering Avenue and the boardwalk (the northernmost end). Pre-registered participants arrive at 8:00 a.m. for bib pick-up. Unregistered participants should arrive at 7:30 am. The registration fee is $30 ($10 for 12 years and younger).

Runners and walkers welcome. Bring the whole family!

Brian was a favorite lifeguard at the Seaside Heights beach and was a true hero. He saved lives not only while he was living but also in his passing as an organ donor.

He was sadly and tragically taken from us way too soon. This event is sponsored by Brian’s family to honor his memory and raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention. All proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

For more info, visit www.runreg.com/5k-for-BK.

After the race, stick around for the weekend and enjoy everything we have to offer.

Upcoming events for the weekend of June 9, 10, & 11…
