Each week through the fall, we’ll be telling you about fun events and activities in this family-friendly resort just across the road from Exit 82!

Now that summer is officially behind us, Seaside Heights is taking advantage of the festive fall season featuring a number of events and parades that the entire family can enjoy.

As ‘local’s summer’ winds down, the bay and ocean beaches are still open for a long stroll, while the arcades and restaurants also keep their doors open throughout the fall.

No matter what time of the year it is, it’s always a great time to visit Seaside Heights!

Seaside Heights Events for September 27 – October 9

September 30th and October 1st: Oktoberfest

Join in the fall festivities as Seaside Heights hosts their 2nd Annual Oktoberfest. On Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st, Oktoberfest in Seaside Heights will kick off at 11am with the “Tapping of the Keg.”

The event will feature over 30 seasonal craft beers on tap (with tasting sessions run from 12:00 to 2:30pm and 3:30 – 6:00pm), great bands, authentic German food, artisans and crafters, a full beer garden (or “biergarten”), food trucks, and even a kid zone. Along with beer, they’ll be plenty of wings with a wing eating contest, a Friday night kick off party, and a Bavarian themed Saturday night after party. Click here to buy your tickets!

September 30th: Oktoberfest Muscle and Vintage Car Showdown 

Grab your beer and brat, then check out all the “muscle cars” as they kick off at 12:00pm. Find out what classic muscle car reigns supreme during the Car Show Awards ceremony at 4:00pm where they’ll judge all the best vintage cars (even brand new 2017 cars!)

October 6th – 8th: Italian Street Festival 

Savor the weekend with delectable Italian specialties, arts and crafts, and live entertainment. The weekend with culminate with the 26th Annual Ocean County Columbus Day Parade that is bound to delight the young and old alike.

October 7th – FISH (Fishing’ In Seaside Heights) 

Celebrating it’s 14th event, the Annual Children’s Fishing Tournament, sponsored by the Seaside Heights Fishing Club will be held from 10:00am – 2:00pm. Registration will begin at 9:00am for two age groups (up to 12 years and 13-16 years old). Prizes will be awarded for the top three places and free t-shirts will be handed out to the first 200 participants.

October 8th – Columbus Day Parade 

Celebrate the 26th Annual Ocean county Columbus Day Parade beginning at 1:00pm on Sunday on the Boulevard.
