Dinner On the Go: Jersey Shore Take-Out Family Friendly Dinners

You know the drill. It’s 5pm on Wednesday night. You just picked up the kids from practice, the dry cleaning, and the toothpaste you realized you were out of this morning. Maybe you’ve been food shopping, maybe you haven’t, all you know is that there’s no way you’re getting dinner on the table, especially if you’re the one who’s in charge of cooking it! Fear no more! We’ve all been there and we want to help.

These Jersey Shore take-out restaurants are the answer to your evening prayers. They’ll cook your family’s dinner and have it ready to go – sometimes curbside so you don’t even have to get out of the car! All you have to do is give your family a fork and a knife (and maybe a napkin) and you’ve got yourself dinner in a flash. Now if we could just get them to do the dishes and the laundry that quickly too…

Jersey Shore Take Out Family Friendly Dinners

Temple, Red Bank
Have you ever thought to yourself, if only I could grab dinner, but not get out of my car? Well, the team at Temple Gourmet Chinese (91 Broad Street, Red Bank 732-212-8858) thought the same thing. Simply call your order ahead of time and they’ll bring you the best (literally, the best) Chinese food to your car that you’ve ever had in your life.

Monmouth Meats, Red Bank
You’ve probably run into Monmouth Meats (112 Monmouth Street, Red Bank 732-741-5292) for a sandwich at some point, but have you ever picked up one of their Family Packs? For just $21.99, you’ll take home everything you need for a full sandwich feast whether it’s ham, turkey, and bologna complete with cheese, rolls or Genoa Salami, Cappiocola, Pepperoni, and some Italian cheeses, both served with a pound of your favorite sandwich salad – it’s an at home picnic, minimal prep required!

Klein’s Fish Market, Belmar
Not just one of the area’s best Jersey Shore waterfront restaurants, Klein’s On Main is also home to Klein’s Fish Market (708 River Road, Belmar 732-681-1177) where you can walk out with fresh off the boat seafood. Find everything from uncooked fish fillets or large platters of sushi – ready to go just for you!

Dominick’s, Wall Twp.
Yes, Dominick’s Pizzeria (2601 East Hurley Pond Road, Wall Twp 732-280-9255) is a pizzeria, but it’s also so much more. With specials almost every night of the week and a cheesesteak that will absolutely blow your mind, it’s definitely our “go to” for last minute dinners.

The Cheese Cave, Red Bank
We’re not quite sure what we enjoy more, the Macaroni & Cheese or the SandwiCHEESEs from The Cheese Cave (14 Monmouth Street, Red Bank 732-842-0796). Since your family may feel the same way, why not come home with both. More cheese please!
