Annual Christmas Tree Lighting in Downtown Toms River

Join in the fun as The Downtown Toms River Business Improvement District hosts their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 1st at 5:00pm. Bring the entire family to the courtyard between Town Hall and the library on Washington Street where the community will come together to light the town’s Christmas tree. Featuring live entertainment from Donovan Catholic Chorus, The Amazing V Magician, and Exit 82 Theater Company, as well as a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas from Mrs. Claus.

At 7:00pm, Santa Claus will arrive on one of Toms River Volunteer Fire Co. #1’s fire truck to help light the Christmas tree. After Santa lights the tree, he’ll be available for photos with the kids. Enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies from the Toms River Volunteer Fire Co. #1 or goodies from a food and dessert truck. Make it a night out with family and friends by visiting one of Downtown Toms River’s many restaurants.
