Please note that some of these places are open for breakfast every day, while others may only serve brunch on weekends.
This task was not an easy one. New Jersey is a state that prides itself on its ability to master the pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich, the bagel, and every diner specialty you can imagine. There are also a number of great places that are putting their own spin on those classic dishes.

Well known for having one of the best Jersey Shore breakfast and brunches in the area, The Molly Pitcher Inn’s Sunday Brunch is extravagant. Reserve your table early for a chance to dine on traditional breakfast dishes like au gratin potatoes, made to order omelettes and bacon while also enjoying the more decadent dishes like poached salmon, leg of lamb, and oysters and clams on the half shell. Something about Toast has the locals positively obsessed with it.
