DRIFTHOUSE by David Burke Dining Experience
Jersey Shore InMotion was recently invited out to DRIFTHOUSE by David Burke, located at the Driftwood Cabana Club in Sea Bright. From start to finish, the dining experience was superb. The service was prompt, and every dish we tried was outstanding. We will definitely return soon to sample more of the innovative and delectable menu offerings. Special thanks to VIP Manager Nancy, Chef Rafael, and Waiter Paul for an amazing evening!
We started off the night with:
Focaccia Bread served with fresh Olive Oil
Clothesline Bacon – Maple Black Pepper Glazed served with pickles and lemon
The experience of ordering the bacon was remarkable. The waiter brought the dish to the table along with a blow torch to extract all the maple and peppery goodness from the bacon. The smell of cooked bacon and rosemary fills the entire dining room, and we guarantee you’ll be thinking about this dish for days afterwards.
The Original Sea Bright Lobster Bisque – Rich & Creamy Bisque packed with the meat from an entire lobster!
When they say that the bisque comes with an entire lobster, they weren’t kidding! You even get to take home a DRIFTHOUSE mug afterwards.
Entrées:
Salt Brick Chicken – Ricotta Gnocchi, Mushroom, Roasted Grapes & Chicken Jus
The chicken was cooked perfectly, and the jus made it even more mouthwatering. The roasted grapes were a pleasant surprise and added an unexpected sweetness.
Grilled Salmon with Chipotle Tomato Sauce
The salmon was savory and juicy with a wonderful crisp top layer to it, paired with the chipotle tomato sauce, it made for an amazing blend of flavor. The market vegetables were the perfect bed setting for this fish providing a sweetness to balance out the dish.
Dessert:
DRIFTHOUSE Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake with Raspberry, Candied Sliced Almonds and White Chocolate Chips + two Cheesecake Cake Pops
The Mousse cake was light, delectable and the perfect way to end an incredible meal. Paired with the cake pops that melt in your mouth, this was a chocolate lovers dream.
