If you’re from New Jersey, you’ve had the Jersey special: a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll. Well, suffice it to say, out of the thousands of places at the Jersey Shore that makes these, Slater’s Deli really stands out. Why? Let’s start off with the huge serving of grilled pork roll, the oozing fried egg, and the perfectly melted cheese on a delicious roll. Run, don’t walk there right now. 866 State Route 36, Leonardo (732) 291-3466
Well known for having one of the best Jersey Shore breakfast and brunches in the area, The Molly Pitcher Inn’s Sunday Brunch is extravagant. Whipped offers a large selection of sweet and savory crepes made to order. Enjoy your crepe with a cappuccino and you’ll be surprised when you walk out onto Monmouth Street instead of The Avenue des Champs-Elysees.Soyez le bienvenu. Some mornings, a cup of coffee and a doughnut are all you need for a fast breakfast. At Broad St., the doughnuts are hot, fresh, and simply put – amazing! Try out Chef Joe’s game time twists on the classics like Chicken and Churros or the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Pizza. Sip on a homemade Bloody Mary as you let the kids run loose. It’s way better than reading the paper at home! 110 Schanck Road, Freehold (732) 577-8200
Toast, Asbury Park
Downtown Asbury Park has gone to the hipsters and really we couldn’t be happier because Toast is one of our favorite places to grab a delicious Jersey Shore breakfast and brunch. Try out the Huevos Rancheros or go sweet with the Red Velvet Pancakes. Toast even gives some love those who are gluten challenged with thick and fluffy gluten-free waffles. Breakfast has never been this hip. Don’t forget that that folks near Red Bank have a new location on Monmouth Street also! 516 Cookman Ave, Asbury Park (732) 776-5900

Mustache Bill’s Diner, Barnegat Light
A few years ago, Mustache Bill’s Diner in Barnegat Light was featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives for their exceptionally well made diner basics. In a state where diners are a dime a dozen, Mustache Bill’s stands out as one of the best, featuring Jersey diner food classics in a 1960s diner feel, complete with stools and shiny stainless steel trim.
